Welcome to the OWH PIZZAZ skip!
Welcome to the OWH PIZZAZ
skip!
If you are arriving from
Cindy’s Card Company, you are in the right spot.
If you would like to go
back to the beginning, visit the stars and stamps blog here.
My first card is another
one that I CASE’d from Debby Hughes. This is an extension of acrylic block
stamping. I scribbled 2 colors of water
based markers on an acrylic block and spritzed the block with water. This technique take a little bit to master
to determine just the right amount of water.
I finished it off with a flourish and jewels.
Liquid pearls add interest to the cupcake as sprinkles.
And finally, the heart is heat
embossed with a bejeweled flourish on the base layer.
Don’t forget to go down to
Thursday’s post to leave a comment for some ***Blog
Candy***.
The next stop on the skip
is Barb Housner’s – a fellow cheesehead.
Barb organized this little skip so make sure you leave her little extra
blog love!

Hey Girlfriend!
The image is a stamp from Unity Stamp Company called "Hey Girlfriend". I just love the retro look of this image. I believe I used Vintage Photo distress ink which I clear embossed. (I was experimenting with different inks and embossing and now I can't remember.) I chose some distressed retro looking paper from my stash to complete the card.
I'm excited about the Operation Write Home Blog Skip tomorrow. Can't wait to show you what I have come up with. Don't forget about the blog candy in the post from Thursday.

Seam Binding & ***Blog Candy***
Seam binding makes great bows, don't you think? This card is from earlier this summer for Operation Write Home. The strawberry was colored with Copics and the seeds were colored in later with a white gel pen.
Speaking of seam binding, I have some to give away. I have a lovely assortment of jewel-toned genuine Hug Snug Seam Binding for you. Leave me a comment by midnight Sunday, August 26th, central time, and I will pick a winner from the comments on Monday. Continental US only please.

First Post!
This card is a complete and total copy of Debby Hughes card. I used different colors and a different stamp, but it is essentially her card. Debby's style is so close to my own style that I always find inspiration on her site. I'm sure she would be tickled if you took a peak at www.limedoodle.blogspot.com.
