Welcome to the OWH PIZZAZ skip!

Welcome to the OWH PIZZAZ skip!
If you are arriving from Cindy’s Card Company, you are in the right spot.

If you would like to go back to the beginning, visit the stars and stamps blog here

My first card is another one that I CASE’d from Debby Hughes.  This is an extension of acrylic block stamping.  I scribbled 2 colors of water based markers on an acrylic block and spritzed the block with water.  This technique take a little bit to master to determine just the right amount of water.  I finished it off with a flourish and jewels.

Liquid pearls add interest to the cupcake as sprinkles.

And finally, the heart is heat embossed with a bejeweled flourish on the base layer.

Don’t forget to go down to Thursday’s post to leave a comment for some  ***Blog Candy***.

The next stop on the skip is Barb Housner’s – a fellow cheesehead.  Barb organized this little skip so make sure you leave her little extra blog love!

  2. What a nice group of cards! That first technique is a new one to me... I may have to play around with that... I like the artistic feeling it results in. The pearl pen as sprinkles on the cupcake is brilliant! I need to get some more pearl pens now.

  3. Oh, wow! You have cornered the market on pizzaz! I have little water spritzers but haven't used them yet, but I've watched youtube videos like what you've done on the 1st card so now you've inspired me to try it! how'd you do that beautiful flourish? It's lovely. And I also don't have liquid pearls so that's a new technique for me to consider! I love heat embossing, so your heart card is one I admire!

  5. Wonderful cards. I love how elegant the flourish one looks with the splash of color behind it. And, your other cards look wonderful too and like you many times I used dry embossing to give my cards a textured punch affect. Your cupcake looks delicious and appealing with all those sprinkles.

  10. On first look, I thought the first card was done with alcohol inks. Thanks for sharing what you did with the watercolor markers - I've put in on my list of things to try out {it's getting pretty long just with this blog skip!} On the 3rd card, the black scalloped edge really compliments the black flourish to tie it all together - wonderful!
